We talked about the Evoque last week, with its sleek interior stealing away one of the spots on Forbes Best Interior list. This week there is even more to talk about for the Evoque. The Evoque has added two more awards to its already lengthy list of 112. This time the Evoque was named the "Car of the Year" and the "Best Crossover" by Diesel Car Magazine. Judges nod to the combination of a sleek exterior and the exceptional drive all in one, making this a  vehicle everyone wants to drive.

But the Evoque was not the only Land Rover honored by Diesel Car. Another winning Land Rover model was the Discovery 4, taking the "Best 4x4 Award". The Discovery 4 has won this award three years in a row and is described by the magazine as "everything you could possibly want in a car". To top it all off the runner up for the "Best 4x4 Award" was the Range Rover.

All three vehicles have a Diesel engine, the qualifying factor to be nominated for these awards. The Evoque has a 2.2 liter engine that comes in SD4 190 horsepower, TD4 150 horsepower and ED4 150 horsepower two-wheel drive. The Land Rover Discovery 4 has an advanced sequential turbo 3.0 liter engine that produces 255 horsepower and 600Nm of torque. The Range Rover has a 4.4 liter engine with 313 horsepower and 700Nm of torque.
